I Took The Walk!

(Continuation from the last post) The thing I was excited the most was probably the fact that I was there not only for the concert but also for THE WALK! There was a great possibility that I would get really close to them. Jacob showed up at about 1:30pm so he cold pick up our tickets from the Will Call. The line for the Will Call leaded to the inside of the venue. while we were there, Jacob kind of looked through this hole in the wall and saw some people in there. He said he thought that one of the people he saw was Zac so I felt compelled to look as well. It was not only Zac Hanson but the WHOLE entire family Hanson! It was funny, because I've always seen all of them in magazines and for some reason I never thought I'd get that close. Just peaking from this tiny hole I was happy because it was closer than I've ever been! At about 3 pm I was above anxious and absolutely stopped breathing when as the girls in front of the main doors of the venue got up and pointed their cameras.

I thought I was probably going to be close, but not THAT close. Goodness, I was still trying to get my act together when the walk started. In a few seconds they disappeared amongst all those people and I thought that was the last time I was going to see the guys! Not true. Instead of "taking the walk" I "took the run". I think Zac was the first one I reached (of course, my memory is already slipping away...). It wasn't easy to stay around him as there were a ton of girls jumping around, pushing and doing whatever it took to be close to him. I wasn't interested in the whole "please, can I get an autograph or a picture" deal. I mean, I would have LOVED it, but I knew The Walk wasn't about it and they get pretty annoyed by the fans that got there and instead of walking barefeet for the children's cause, they keep asking them for stuff. I tried some pictures OF them, the results were SO much better than when I saw them for the first time in Brazil. (My first Hanson concert was when I was 13. My mom took me and my 3 year old brother on a 2 hr trip to see the guys, getting there, she thought I was going to pass out or something so she got me the "chairs" section -pretty far- and doped me with calming pills. I don't remember a thing and all of my pictures couldn't get developed).

After Zac got annoyed enough with this one girl who wouldn't stop talking, he ran away. That was funny and made me glad for not being that annoying girl, I was happy about myself. I ran to the closest Hanson: Isaac. He is the one I always wanted to talk to him because I thought he looked the nicest out of the three. I could NOT get in front of him OR beside him to take picture...it was freacking impossible. He was indeed a very nice guy and was being polite and funny with everybody. While there I thought of asking him a question: What if Hanson did a WALK in Brazil? Would that turn out as messy as it sounded? I was behind me but I asked anyway. I wasn't very hopeful he would listen so I just "said" it. He looked back at me and asked "what's that?"! I was so happy...I repeated my question and just as I thought he said that would not be possible becuase Brazilians are very..."crazy, I know..." I filled in the blanks for him so he didn't need to be rude! hahaha

I was done talking to Isaac becuase people kept bugging him and trying to get his attention. I ran a bit more (barefeet...ouchy) and catched up with Taylor, I thought it would be impossible to get close to him as every girl think he is the cutest thing of all time...I couldn't disagree more! He's such a wird person! I don't know man...Taylor Hanson always looked too much of a girl to be a boy! hahahaha But everybody always said he was the nicest one of them and that he had a hard time shutting up! haha I asked him the same question I asked Isaac. It was very funny, he tried his best to sound nice...and for some reason he couldn't shut up!!! He started talking about Brazil, politics, power of action and on and on and on...hahaha...he definetely is the nicest of them ...being wird or not, he's a nice dude! and just like that the walk reached a mile and we were back to the venue.

I was still trying to believe in everything that happened, getting to TALK to them was way more than I expected, if I had to go home at that moment I wouldn't complain (don't tell Jacob...he listened to his Ipod during the whole thing!hahaha). This first picture wasn't taken by me, but by other Hanson fans, same about the ones I am in it! haha...

Man, I'm SO sorry for the quantay of pictures, but you have no idea how proud I am of them! lol anyways, next post...time for the CONCERT! See ya then!
